Are all photos inherently of the past? Or is it possible to take a photo that doesn't look backward, at a moment that is gone once the shutter is snapped?
The moment after the photo is snapped, the egg is a bit older and, thus, no longer the same. The photo is of the egg's past and of the nest's past--a moment that is gone. And once the baby bird hatches, the egg is definitely no longer the same.
When I first started on Blogger, my handle was "Ratty", maintaining anonymity so that in my "Rat in the Walls" blog I could write about my brother's fatal illness without giving away his identity. Under that pseudonym, I could voice things I couldn't elsewhere. Rats thrive in the dark. :::
Now, five years after his death in 2008, I'm coming out of the walls and reclaiming my humanity.

only with your imagination. Aim, focus, create. It will never change even if you do.
