Brian called me Bible Man. I am remembering him and thinking of his family as I prepare to do the ice bucket challenge. Blessings to you and your family.
I think about Brian a lot, esp lately. I worked closely with him at EMC Documentum for years. He was great to work with, I enjoyed our lunches together and just chatting about writing and the world. He was thoughtful, intelligent, funny, I miss him. I hope you're doing well, grief is a tough process, esp with such a bright spark like Brian.
I've also been challenged to do the ice bucket challenge, but I want to make a donation to the kids' scholarship funds or something like that. I've always wanted to do something for this family and pouring water over my head isn't enough. Miss your brother.
When I first started on Blogger, my handle was "Ratty", maintaining anonymity so that in my "Rat in the Walls" blog I could write about my brother's fatal illness without giving away his identity. Under that pseudonym, I could voice things I couldn't elsewhere. Rats thrive in the dark. :::
Now, five years after his death in 2008, I'm coming out of the walls and reclaiming my humanity.

I miss him too, I was an avid reader of his blog and he included mine in his duly noted.
